Mornings are for making.
We’re huge believers in the early start: first coffee, quiet house, real progress before the day gets loud. CommonNote is built to be the first thing you open, not the thing you dread.
About CommonNote
We’re a small, ground-up startup. CommonNote began as a tool for a few friends making a game, and grew once we saw how many teams were stuck with the same scattered notes.
2026 · The beginning
The first version of CommonNote was built for exactly one team: a handful of friends working on a Roblox game across two states. Playtest notes, bug reports and half-formed ideas were spread across chats and screenshots, and the same problems kept getting reported twice and fixed once.
We wanted one place where anyone could write down what they saw, in their own words, and have it come out the other side as something clear enough to act on. Claude made that possible: it reads every note, keeps every detail, and turns it into a tidy summary and a fix the code can follow.
Then · Bigger than us
Once our own notes were in order, we noticed it everywhere: support teams logging calls, marketing agencies drafting with AI, game studios, class projects and friends starting something on the side. Collaboration rarely breaks because people don’t care. It breaks because nobody can see who’s working on what, and good notes get buried.
So we opened CommonNote up. Projects are private and invite-only, your team sees who’s live right now, and Claude does the tidying so the people can do the building.

Every feature starts with one question: does this help the team see each other’s work? If it doesn’t, it doesn’t ship.
